Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces about 225 grams spaghetti
  • 1 pound about 450 grams ground beef
  • 1 packet 1.25 ounces or about 35 grams taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can 10 ounces or about 285 grams diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can 8 ounces or about 225 grams tomato sauce
  • 1 cup about 240 milliliters water
  • 1 cup about 240 grams shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • Optional toppings: diced tomatoes sliced green onions, sour cream, avocado, cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning mix, diced tomatoes with green chilies (undrained), tomato sauce, and water to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Stir well to combine.
  • Simmer the beef mixture for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until well coated with the beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and cover the skillet with a lid. Let it sit for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve hot, optionally topped with diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, sour cream, avocado, or cilantro. Enjoy your Taco Spaghetti!
