Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound 450 grams ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 10.75 ounce can condensed beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup 120 ml water
  • 1 12 ounce package wide egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup 60 ml chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Brown beef and sauté vegetables: In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients: Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook noodles: While the beef mixture simmers, cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Combine noodles and sauce: Add the cooked noodles to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
