Ingredients
  

For the cake:

  • 2 large eggs 100 grams
  • 1 cup 240 ml vegetable oil
  • 1 ¼ cups 300 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon 15 ml vanilla extract
  • 3 cups 380 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup 200 grams white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon 12 grams baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon 3 grams salt

For the streusel:

  • 1 ¼ cups 250 grams packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon 8 grams ground cinnamon
  • ¼-⅓ cup 57-76 grams unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Make the cake batter:

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

Make the streusel:

  • In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.

Assemble the cake:

  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle half of the streusel over the batter. Pour the remaining batter over the streusel. Sprinkle the remaining streusel over the top of the batter.

Bake the cake:

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before serving.
