Cook Pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Simmer Sauce: Stir in crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Combine and Serve: Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat. Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
