- 2 medium-sized apples about 350g, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 1 box 432g of yellow cake mix
- 3 large eggs
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare Apples: Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples. Set them aside.
Prepare Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix and eggs. Stir until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
Layer Apples and Batter: Spread a thin layer of the batter on the bottom of the prepared cake pan. Arrange a layer of sliced apples on top of the batter. Repeat the process, alternating layers of batter and apples until all the ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of apples on top.
Bake: Place the cake pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
Optional: You can dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar or serve it with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for extra flavor.
