Cuisine American
- 1 box 15.25 oz or 432g Funfetti cake mix
- 1 cup 240ml vanilla frosting
- 16 oz 453g white melting chocolate or candy melts
- Sprinkles for decoration (optional)
Prepare the Cake:
Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions.
Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Follow the instructions on the Funfetti cake mix box to prepare the cake batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake according to the instructions. Allow the cake to cool completely.
Make the Cake Pops:
Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs using your hands or a fork.
Add vanilla frosting to the cake crumbs gradually, mixing until the mixture holds together like dough. You may not need to use the entire cup of frosting.
Roll the cake mixture into balls, each about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Insert a lollipop stick into each cake ball. Freeze the cake pops for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
Dip the Cake Pops:
Remove the cake pops from the freezer.
Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated. Gently tap off any excess chocolate.
Immediately decorate the cake pops with sprinkles if desired before the chocolate sets.
