Method

  1. Preheat and Prepare the Potatoes
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Scrub the potatoes clean, pat them dry, then prick each one a few times with a fork. Lightly rub with oil and sprinkle with salt.
  2. Bake the Potatoes
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until they’re crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Check doneness by inserting a knife—if it slides in easily, they’re ready.
  3. Prep the Toppings
While the potatoes are baking, prepare all your toppings. Chop the veggies, cook the bacon or protein, steam the broccoli, and shred the cheese. Arrange each topping in small serving bowls.
  4. Set Up the Toppings Ba
rOnce everything is prepped, set up your toppings bar. Use warmers or slow cookers to keep hot toppings warm and label each item clearly, especially for dietary preferences or allergens.
  5. Serve and Enjoy
Slice the baked potatoes open, fluff the insides with a fork, and invite your guests to build their own creations. Offer salt, pepper, and hot sauce for extra flavor.
