  • 2 cups 475 milliliters milk
  • 1/3 cup 65 grams granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2/3 cup 160 milliliters evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon 14 grams butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon 2.5 milliliters vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Method
 

Step 1: Preheat Oven
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: Prepare Rice Mixture
  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine uncooked rice, milk, sugar, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3: Combine Ingredients
  1. In a separate bowl, mix together beaten egg, evaporated milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
