Cuisine American
- 1 cup fruit juice 240 milliliters
- 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin 20 grams
- 2 tablespoons honey or sugar 30 grams
- Gummy candy molds
Begin by pouring the fruit juice into a small saucepan.
Sprinkle the gelatin over the juice and let it sit for a few minutes to soften.
Place the saucepan over low heat and stir constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. This should take about 5 minutes. Make sure not to let the mixture boil.
Once the gelatin is dissolved, add the honey or sugar to the saucepan. Stir until it's completely dissolved and well combined with the juice mixture.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes. Skim off any foam that forms on the surface.
Carefully pour the mixture into the gummy candy molds. You can use a dropper or a small spoon to do this.
Place the molds in the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 30 minutes, or until the gummies are set and firm.
Once the gummies are set, remove them from the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Enjoy your homemade gummy candies as a tasty snack or treat!
