Ingredients
  

  • 12 large jalapeno peppers halved lengthwise and seeded
  • 8 ounces 225g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup 100g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup 120g cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup 60ml green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup 60g panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons 30ml melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, cooked sausage, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a medium bowl.
  • Fill each jalapeno half generously with the cheese mixture.
  • In a small bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the filled jalapenos.
  • Place the poppers on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and heated through.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
