  • 1/2 lb 225g ground pork
  • 1 1 ounce packet onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup 60g milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup 40g quick-cooking oats
  • 1/4 cup 60ml ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons 30g brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, onion soup mix, milk, egg, oats, and 2 tablespoons of ketchup.
  • Mix gently: Use your hands to gently combine the ingredients until just incorporated. Avoid overmixing.
  • Shape loaf: Shape the mixture into a loaf shape in a 9x5 inch (23x13cm) loaf pan.
